Avoid Cancellation Notices by Ensuring Your Payment is Received On Time
Due to U.S. Postal Service changes instituted in October of 2021, the pandemic, and other factors, Americans are facing frustrating postal delays. These delays are causing important correspondence, including payments that are subject to service cancellations, to be delayed for excessive periods of time.
The unfortunate result is that you should no longer depend on the U.S. Postal Service to conduct important or time-sensitive business correspondence for the foreseeable future.
It’s also important to be aware that some electronic pay services employed by banks or other lenders trigger a physically mailed check. Although the transaction may be electronic on your end, the company awaiting your payment is still subject to mail delays.
To avoid this problem with your insurance bill, we recommend that you pay your bill directly through your carrier’s secure online payment page. All transactions there are completely electronic, and this provides a much faster and easier method that will circumvent any postal delays.
